Our goal at TheSignTruck.com is to determine whether the EMC project is a need or a want (big difference!), design the project, and determine the costs. Sounds simple, but actually we put a lot of effort into delivering a project presentation that “hits the home run” for your business. One important issue that must be discussed is “the budget.” EMC projects are costly and can have a financial range from $20,000 to $200,000. It’s our goal to design a project which will meet the budget on the low side and on the high side. We would all waste a lot of valuable time if a price range was not established and we designed a project that was too small or too big. We will gladly give you locations and costs of previous projects that could be helpful in determining the budget that might be required on a similar type EMC package.

Once we establish the budget, the process starts immediately. We begin with an on-site visit to determine an exact sign location. Many times this is advantageous when determining colors, letter heights, set-backs, visual effectiveness, and such. This would be a good time to bring in others that are involved in the process. During this visit, we shoot many digitals of the location, draft a rough plot plan, & evaluate any existing signs. At this time, we also gather the “wants and desires” that our client would want in a new structure. Some of our projects require retrofitting an EMC unit to an existing sign structure, but the majority of them involve new EMC units on a completely new freestanding
sign structure. The on-site visit usually takes an hour.

The staff at TheSignTruck.com can generally deliver a complete presentation within 72 hours and it would include a variety of design and pricing options. These options would include suggestions that could lower the overall project cost or options that might further enhance the project that might increase the cost. As previously mentioned, it’s our goal to design a project that “hits the home run,” both financially and aesthetically.
